New rules for foreign tourist arriving on 07 September 2022 or later.
No longer authorized tour escort does not have to accompany the foreign tour group or tourist in Japan from 07 September 2022. Sightseeing and transfer can be without guide or assistant.
However, flight ticket from/to Japan and accommodation in Japan must be booked by authorized Japanese travel agency or tour operator as same as till 06 September. Then, travel agency or tour operator will issue a special code for applying the visa to Japan.
From 07 September, it will be much easier to visit Japan.
Of course, Tessera is an authorized travel agency which can issue the special code.
Also a person who has been vaccinated three times or more does not have to obtain negative PCR test result prior to departure to Japan.
